The Full Story
Before I got pregnant, I was in the best shape of my life. My background is in bodybuilding, nutrition, fitness, and health coaching. I could do 13 pull-ups easily. I felt strong, confident, and completely in control of my body.
Then pregnancy happened.
I had an insatiable appetite. I basically lived in the kitchen. I told myself I was "eating for two" and gave myself permission to indulge every craving. By the time my son Jack was born, I had gained 75 pounds.
That moment was my wake-up call. But I didn't want to do some crash diet that would leave me exhausted and hungry while trying to care for a newborn. I didn't have time for hours at the gym. I was breastfeeding and couldn't just stop eating.
So I created a meal plan using everything I knew about nutrition from my bodybuilding background—but adapted for real mom life. Simple. Sustainable. No deprivation.
The weight started falling off. I felt lighter, got my energy back, and started to look like myself again. The penguin had left the building! 🐧
In 9 months, I lost 72 pounds. And I did it while breastfeeding, while caring for a newborn, while being exhausted like every new mom is. I did it without a gym membership, without expensive supplements, without ever going to bed hungry.

Why I Started Skinny Mamas
After I lost the weight, other moms started asking how I did it. Friends. Family. Women at church. Strangers on Instagram who saw my transformation.
I found myself explaining my system over and over. And I realized something: there wasn't a weight loss program out there designed specifically for moms. Everything assumed you had hours for the gym, money for fancy meal delivery services, or the luxury of focusing only on yourself.
That's not real mom life.
Real mom life is being exhausted but still needing to feed your family. It's having 10 minutes to yourself if you're lucky. It's budgeting carefully because kids are expensive. It's feeling invisible sometimes, like you've lost yourself in motherhood.
Skinny Mamas is the program I wish existed when I was at my lowest point. It's designed for real moms, with real constraints, who want real results.
